Monks at the Mahabodhi monastery, located just outside Ladakh, India, have been patiently waiting for pop diva Amy Winehouse to arrive for the past three days.
"She was supposed to come on Saturday, but time is not important, and we are patient," said the Venerable Bhikkhu Sanghasena.
Winehouse, who famously rejected going to rehab, had begrudgingly agreed to a court-ordered "furlough" at the monastery for a month.
"Fine, but I'm getting piss drunk before I go," she said leaving the courtroom.
The monks at Mahabodhi don't have phones, television or internet, but are certain that she will come soon.
"We will help her stop this self-destructive behavior before she does any kind of permenant damage," promised Sanghasena.
