WANTED: Any information regarding the disappearance of the Post Phoenix Bureau's staff, vans, equipment, customers and archived stories.
The only sign of the newspaper's existence is the abandoned offices in the Sun Valley retail park, missing most of the letters off its sign.
The last issue printed was Sunday, October 5.
The Post's national offices were alerted by seven customers who noticed their week's papers never arrived.
Information on the whereabouts of Mitch Stonewater, the Phoenix editor-in-chief, is particularly desired.
Evidence would suggest Stonewater is either the perpetraitor or victim of an elaborate crime.
With all records, equipment and archives gone, we don't even know who worked there.
Somehow the national records were purged as well, and that's probably not a coincidence.
So, without Stonewater, we don't know who the Post Phoenix' paperboys were, let alone their reporters or subscribers.
So, to those Phoenix subscribers, we're sorry for your missing papers. more
